How is self-hosted n8n different from Zapier or Make?
Those services bill per task or operation. Here you pay for the server, and n8n runs as many workflows and executions as the hardware can handle. You can also write code and reach private systems.
How do I open n8n after setup?
Go to your server hostname in a browser. The visual editor loads there and you can start adding nodes right away.
Can I add more users?
Yes. Invite teammates from the Users section in the n8n settings. If outgoing mail is not configured, copy the invite link and send it yourself.
Can I build AI agents with n8n?
Yes. Connect a language model such as GPT, pass it data from other nodes and use its output to make decisions in the workflow. Model usage is billed by your AI provider.
Which plan fits my workflows?
The smallest plan handles personal automations like reminders, posting and backups. Scraping and reporting do well on the middle plans, and the largest suits data-heavy, high-volume work.
